Ramadhan 2021

The first day of Ramadhan will be on Tuesday 13th April 2021.

As the night comes before the day in the Islamic lunar calendar, Ramadhan actually begins at Sunset on 12th April and so the first Taraweeh will be prayed on Monday 12th April after Isha at 9:45pm.

Note regarding Itikaaf: Due to covid; we are limiting the number of people who can observe Itikaaf. You must seek written permission beforehand. Please contact the management to request permission.

Note regarding Iftaar / Food: There will be no public Iftaars at the Masjid this year, due to the New Masjid (Covid) Rules. No food is allowed on premisis!

Eid-ul-Fitr 2021

Eid will be celebrated on either 12th or 13th of May, depending on the Moonsighting in Saudi Arabia. Please check this page after Asr on 12th May 2021 for confirmation.

Eid Salah will be at 9:15 AM on the day of Eid, Insha’Allah.

Fitrah (Fidyah & Kaffarah) rate is £3.00 to feed one person. Please discharge your Fitrah obligations as soon as possible and certainly before Eid Salat. You can discharge your obligation at the donation points inside the Masjid – or (if you are self-isolating) you can donate it through any registered UK charity; such as Ummah Welfare Trust etc.
